Privacy policy

Scope

This notice covers the free DaFi closed test. Real payments, paid theme purchases and commercial license activation are disabled. Test access is not a purchase or a permanent entitlement. A DaFi account is optional for the main planner features.

Planner data and cloud

Handwriting, text, images, tables, audio and drafts are primarily stored on your device. Planner content is not sent to the developer's licensing server. Enabling backup or synchronization with your chosen Google Drive account transfers relevant content to that account. Connecting an account alone does not authorize synchronization. Synchronization is separate from password-protected backup; we do not claim that every synchronization file is end-to-end encrypted. Password-protected external backups use AES-GCM. The developer cannot recover your backup password. OneDrive and Dropbox are not ready for use in this test.

Optional account

Email address, username and password are sent over HTTPS to Google Firebase Authentication to register and sign in. The app does not store your password; session tokens are protected with Android Keystore. Planner cover details are separate from membership. Your membership and cloud accounts may differ. Firebase Authentication uses US data centers. Google also processes technical connection information for authentication and abuse prevention.

Account deletion

Open Settings → Planner registration → Account / activation → Delete my test account, then enter your account password again inside the app and confirm with “Permanently delete my account”. Deletion cannot be undone. Other devices using the same account are affected. A failed request is not reported as successful deletion. Notes on your device and backups in your own cloud remain; manage those separately in the app and cloud service. If you no longer have the app, email info@ferikel.com with the subject “DaFi account deletion request”. Use your account email; do not send a password, identity document or planner content. We verify that the request belongs to the account. Account deletion is not a Google Play refund.

Retention

Local notes remain until you delete them. Trash and backup retention options are available in the app. Recovery points and archives can retain additional copies. Google's current Firebase notice describes authentication IP logs retained for a few weeks and removal of deleted account data from live and backup systems within 180 days. Support correspondence is used to handle and follow up your request. It is retained for 1 year after the request is resolved and deleted at the end of that period.

Permissions

Microphone access is for audio recording you start. An ongoing recording is visible and controllable through its notification. Calendar permission is for reading/writing selected device calendars. Files and folders are selected through Android's system picker. Android handles biometric verification; the app does not receive fingerprint images. Revoke permissions in Android settings. The planner PIN does not encrypt every file. Privacy Mode cannot prevent capture by an external camera or access by third-party keyboards you authorize.

Diagnostics and handwriting recognition

The app has no advertising SDK, Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics. Local diagnostics are shared only when you choose to do so. ML Kit downloads handwriting models when needed and recognizes handwriting on the device. It can process device/app information, installation identifiers, usage events, error codes and performance metrics for diagnostics. We therefore do not claim that no data is collected. Keyboards, translation apps, calendar providers and share destinations follow their own policies.
